Ta for that Dave I think I have worked it out, for anybody else with this problem. Go via HDMI as the Off Timer works in that mode.

Hi Got the above Panasonic but couldn't get Sleep Mode/Off Timer with the PC Mode. Has anybody got it to work? It works on normal FTA TV, HDMI yadda but not PC, which is important as I watch movies regularly and fall asleep to them. I used to have a Samsung and I would just put sleep mode or Windows would turn the monitor off itself. Unfortunately the Panaonic doesn't even go off under Windows and stays with the PC Mode icon in the top left, so I am in a rut (BI etc), anybody got any suggestions? Thanks for the help in advance!

mm it is a brand new blu ray but? i don't get it i can't compare it to something else, but i know the speakers can be clearer than that, maybe it is the disc.

Ok, just got my Celine Dion Live in Las Vegas BD (Laugh all you want, I love it ) To give you some background I have a Sony STRDG510 Paradigm Atom Version 5 PS3 Launch 60GB console firmware upgraded Now two things 1. When I have it on the PCM Uncompressed Sound Track, I get HEAPS of DISTORTION up high, especially with her high notes, I know my speakers can handle it, but for some reason, it sounds SH!T 2. When I have it on Track 2, The Dolby True HD it sounds way better with a lot less distortion. Still existant, but just tolerable. Does anybody know why? Is it the PS3? Is it my AMP or is it just my speakers? They sounded way better in the store, leading me to believe, Dud speakers, CRAP AMP or PS3. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have both, I have played FIFA08, I like it but for the lack of setup modes (eg scenarios etc), and you can't just do a penalty shootout no more. I haven't played PES yet tho.

Anybody got a list of Region B titles that will work on Region A, I have found a few websites but they relates to UK releases. So would that affect us here? This is of course to play on a PS3

In relation to the Component cable go for the Sony one if you plan to upgrade later to a PS3 as you can use it on that, and it gives way better quality. I have been reading around that the generic ones have issues with particular TVs and quality in general. Just a heads up

I have no issue with the PS2 compatibility. I purchased mine from HK so I have an issue as I can't play my PAL games on it. I live with it, and if I do want to play PS2 game, I'll go to the other half's house and play it.
