  1. There an issue for me, it just downloads a 3kb PDF and wont open, even though it says the filesize should be 13mb
  2. Tested it on Eveybody Loves Raymond, sound issue nowhere to be seen in the credits where it used to appear. As for the "SDDL.SEC.txt", it's just being renamed with txt as it's not a recognized extension, just take off the .txt and put it on an SD card
  3. I've got a Panasonic 32in LCD (TX-32LXD700A) and it's boot time is about 5 seconds. It's comparative to the boot time of my LCD monitor.
  4. Alot of time most R4 discs seem to miss out on a DTS track compared to R1. But then again EzyDVD usually just lists Dolby Digital as the soundtrack for all upcoming releases, then changes it once it's been released and confirmed
  5. The firmware works on all 7 series Panasonic TV's (Both LCD and Plasma) and there's no risk in upgrading it. However unless you have the 700A, you'll need to get to the back of your TV and use the SD service port
  6. Finally my SD card came today, so I'll try it tonight and give a test on TenHD
  7. Well I was home all day and the card never arrived. So we rang them up again and now they tell me my the reason being the card was sent in the second batch and should be expected tomorrow. This is after they told me to be home today, let's hope I get it tommorrow. I guess the only way to get it done is to keep calling and asking. So anyone else still waiting give them a call and ask whats going on.
  8. I have a 66cm Pansonic Widescreen CRT (Bought in 04), the black levels put LCD.Plasma to shame. It's quite a nice TV to look at and does a good job as a secondary TV, excellent picture with Foxtel Digital. It also does 100Hz Scanning and has 4 Inputs.
  9. Yeh I have the TX-32LXD700A which exhibits this problem. Rang customer service again today, they apologised for not calling me and will be sending the SD card out tommorrow. By the way what size card is everyone getting?
  10. Not sure if anyone else has posted this link before but it's about common HDTV problems and there casues. http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology...de/2826881.html
  11. I've got the same problem as most people in this thread. HD Tuner issues with garbled sound
  12. Hopefully this will be the same for my 700A LCD TV, I've registered my details but haven't heard anything else yet
  13. This is also a usueful site http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.php They review all regions mainly R2/R1, but usually most R2 releases are the same as R4
  14. Alot of the cheap players lack DTS decoding, progressive scanning & optical/coaxial audio outputs. So if your putting it on a bedroom TV or in the kids room its fine but skip it for your main DVD player.
  15. The RWC in HD is amazing, compare it to the SD brodcast on Foxtel and it blows it away. Of course HD always looks good in comparison to SD but not like this
  16. It is possible to do 1080p through component, however most current sets only do it through HDMI
  17. I watch alot of SD 4x3 sport on Foxtel and never see any of these issues, ever when vertically stretched or zoomed in. So I'm now convinced it's the brodcast at fault, not the TV.
  18. Exactly the same as me, throguht the left channel. Although just now I left it on for about 20 mins and didn't hear any problem so it looks like they sorted it
  19. Might be worth checking this out -> http://www.dtvforum.info/index.php?showtopic=42367
  20. The lines have gone now, but there is constant crackle in the sound now on 020 ABC HD but not on the SD channel. Has anyone else had this?
  21. Thats good to hear you fixed it, and yes your right 1080p is only accepeted through HDMI and VGA max res is 1366 x 768.
  22. You can swtich off 100Hz temporarily. Hold down the "F" button on top of TV for around 5 secs. then a split screen demo will come up for 100Hz. Just tried it on Fox Sports 3 (The cricket it on) and it is much better with it on.
  23. It only blurs on sport in my experience when the crowd is the background, the solid colour of the grass is fine for fast moving objects. It's when a player is running in front of a fence or the crowd you notice some blurring. But I’ve seen this for years on my HD tuner card in my PC with 17in LCD monitor too
