  1. Finally got Samsung to replace my PSC7000 with a PSD8000. I've done a bit of research and found out that the 3D is no better in the 8000 than the 7000. The main problems I had with the 3D is that it was extremely dark and the image did not seem to pop out at all like it did with the inshore display. I've recently tried out a LGW6500 and was absolutely blown away. Not only did the 3D pop out at me better than in the cinemas, it looked so vibrant and crisp. I got none of the extremely dark effects that I got from my old PS7000. Should I sell off the Samsung to get the LGW6500 or is the 3D better?
  2. Bought this TV in November and I can't seem to find settings that are good for gaming on the ps3/360. It's either too dark/bright or the color is too dull. I never had a problem with my previous samsung but I can't seem ton tweak the settings to make it look good at all. Anyone got any ideas?!?
  3. Saw the Samsung UA40C7000 in Dick Smith today and absolutely fell in love. It looked heads and shoulders better than anything else picture wise. I only ask to see if its any good, because it was on clearance? Would be used mostly for gaming.
  4. Its in perfect condition, about a year old, pickup is available in Melbourne or can be posted out.. make an offer
  5. Just picked up one of these today, can't get the colors exactly how I want. Anyone got some good settings I could try out?
  6. i've rang The Good Guys and Retravision so far, and the best they can do for me is $1350 cash...I'm going to go into some places later today.
  7. Do you's recommend the panasonic? I also had my eye on the Samsung PS42C91HDX
  8. Comeon guys, a few people said i could find one for $1200~. Im going out to buy one tomorrow.
  9. I'm going to buy a 42" Panasonic over the weekend in Victoria, with Cash. the Good guys have one for $1399, how much would i be looking at roughly cash for this?
  10. Hey guys, in November 06, I bought this crap Palsonic 32" LCD for $1200, now my 42" Panasonic which i bought at the same time shits all over it, when playing my ps3 there is no comparison, i actually can't enjoy a game playing it on the 32". Now I want to get a 32" or 42" LCD for the room. With a equal or better quality picture of the Panasonic TV which is only 1080i capable. IT doesn't have to have any tuners or anything. I must admit I really do like the quality of the samsung picture, but i think its a bit out of my price range. What can you recommend within a $900-1150 Price Range, i'm not fussed on the brand(Prefer Samsung or Panasonic) aslong as you can ENSURE me that the quality will be a lot better than the crap I have in my room atm. Also, if anyone wants to buy the peice of crap Palsonic, you can have it for $400 pickup in Melbourne.
  11. Oh true, i forgot to mention the fact that with the old 360's, they go down like flies, and its a pity yours would have to go all the way back to japan several times when this breaks down, and it will break down
  12. you should be comparing the fact that its a japanese console, and due to the fact the 360 isn't region free the price will lower by quite an ammount take a look on ebay. Also maybe the fact that you can get the new PRO package, which has the newer version of the 360, for $450 new at JBHIFI might make your price a little bit less likely too sell, just a little So you tell me how $500 is cheap for this, when for $449 at JBHIFI and $500 anywhere else you can get the newer Pro Packaged 360(HDMI Enabled and less failure rate), 2 Games, an aus version of the console, and all of the other stuff listed in the premium package
  13. Go down abit to find someone selling a premium console with 2 wireless controllers, and 3 games for $350
  14. I've also sold something buy it now, and got all the fees back...
  15. Hey Guys just to confirm, I've got a white 40gb from play-asia that should be arriving either toinght or tomorrow morning. So I can just use a standard PC Power Plug without any step down converters and it will be fine? I'm new to this importing thing, and i'd hate to have a sexy yet, sadening $500 doorstop.
