tech came out installed firmware got just scan working and also the colour flickering has been fixed loving it!!

i have booked mine for next tue so hopefully fix firmware & colour flickering issue.

i dont think they come out of the box with the firmware. you need a tech on site to fix it.

does the firmware fix the colour swapping issue?

I'm sure over HDMI it would look better but with only having a VGA output on my vid card i'm sure its not too bad haha i'm quite happy but component looks great wiht my the xbox (not 360). so quite happy with it all!

I have it over VGA and its crisp as!

Remember DON'T change anything unless you are absolutley sure what the result will be. To find the service menu: Power Off -> Info -> Menu -> Mute -> Power On

I think we are still awaiting for a samsung tech to go out to scotts place and install it. Scott hasn't informed us of any update as of yet. Has anyone tried a VGA to Componet connection on this TV?
