I put a call into the redemption team this afternoon and spoke to Tim he said this prob seems to be mainly affecting the Xe1 redemptions he said he would re do my order and that i would get the discs in under 2 weeks i would suggest that anyone who hasnt contacted them to do so as he said he was having to key them in himself so heres hoping

Not sure if anyone else has tried but you cant even email the redemption team to query whats going on might try calling them tomorrow but im not holding my breath

Not as of today when i checked hopefully tomorrow

If any one else has a spare or wants to sell their copy im after one too

You wont be able to get at that price from the dealer i bought from because this was a special deal becasue i had bought the EP-10 from him a couple of days before the price drop so he gave me a deal to upgrade to the XE-1

Hi Pete the redemption is still on for the Dvd's but not the Cash Back you could try Khai Hi Fi in John St Cabramatta or Clive Peters at Casula

Well after much haggling with the sales guy that sold me the EP-10 4 days before the price drop for $700 wasnt able to get a refund and Toshiba wouldnt even offer a comprimise so i went back to the shop ranted and raved and was able to get the XE-1 for $470 Now if anyone wants to make a decent offer on the EP10 will include the redemption disks when they turn up PM me

well if worst comes to worst i'll still buy the XE-1 and just see what ever price i can get for the EP-10

Ill ring them tomorrow and jump up and down see if they will swap for the XE-1 id be happy if they did that

The $950 i got was from Myer in the Sydney CBD Store missus chucked a wobbly only let me go upto $700 for the HD player after buying the XBR so had to settle on the EP-10 oh well gotta keep the boss happy so she keeps me happy so now what do i do as far as updating it and making it region free any help would be appreciated

Can anyone help me out with a receipt for a XE-1 around the $900-$950 mark as im looking to buy this week and does anyone know if the Redemption offer still applies for the HD Dvd's seems they are still promoting it but said the cut off was 31/12 Any help would be appreciated

Is the A35 the same as the Xe1 or is the Xe1 still the best there is and also is there a patch to make it region free

We should all flood Warners email box and voice our disapproval of their decision I for one will still be purchasing an Xe-1 and look forward to many a happy night in front of it
