I've just seen it in xbox 360 forums, etc since I"ve been looking into buying one. .. it's still just a rumour and nothing has been confirmed or denied. yes I"d love a black one! some sites have got it rumoured at $749. http://www.xb360info.com/xbox/console/142 search google for black xbox 360 .. there's lost of info about it.

sorry that's my last offer ... or I might wait 2 weeks till when the PS3 comes out and see if the price of the 360 drops ... pretty sure microsoft will do something. heard rumours of a matt black 360 coming out with quieter DVD drive and 120gb HHD to compete with the PS3 in the same week as when the PS3 is luanched here.

$625 it is then .. with just PGR3 and GOW ... you can make abit more from the other games on ebay. That's almost the price for a brand new one already. Myer has it for $649 with 2 games. but of course you also have an extra controller.

Hi, I have a problem ... I have a Dvico dual tuner and has been working pefectly for 2 months. I've always had a perfect signal for all stations but 2 days ago, I lost SBS completely using Fusion TV, DNTV, and MCE ... tried tuning it all again and now it doens't pick it up at all. All other stations work fine. I can still pick up SBS signal with my nomal STB without any problems. my other external digital tuner also has no problems picking up the signal. I bought a signal amplifier and it does not make a difference ... I really can't think of anything ... HELP! anyone got any ideas ? is there warranty ?

I use the web based setup now and it's very nice to use ... everything is pretty easy to understand and it only took me about 2 hours of mucking around to get it exactly how I like it ... it's a keeper I love it now ... and the delay thing is gone as well and it's nice and responsive now. I'm very surprised at how well it works with so few buttons and it's all I really need for MCE2005 ... I don't even need to use the LCD buttons. highly recommended now and the customer service I might add is amazing. they solved it in a few less than a day. Customer support with the kameleon was non-existant. I don't think they have even updated their site ... ever. thanx for all your help guys so if anyone interested in a used kameleon 6in1 in very very good condition ... please give me a PM

got a reply from logitech this morning and told me to go update my remote as they just replaced the iMON signals ... their' customer support is so very good. it now controls my iMON ... will take some time to configure my buttons as at the moment, it's hardly easy to use yet ... it won't control it if I"m in media PC mode and only in 'watch tv' mode .. so it's very weird. and it's slow ... pressing a button takes a little time for the iMON PC to pick it up .. I'll try and get it as best I can today and see how it goes .. otherwise ... back to dicksmoth it goes ... I really need it to be abit more easy and flexible than it is at the moment.

well .. I got the setup thing all working , downloaded the settings for the pio plasma, iMON HTPC, etc to my remote... pressed the 'watch tv' button and it turned on my plasma and actually turned OFF my HTPC (with an windows error) ... turned my HTPC on but the 520 will not control anything ... tried again downloading the silverstone LC10M to the remote .. still nothing .. trying the soundgraph iMON download again, the buttons that show up on the LCD are all correct but still doesn't do anything ... the iMON won't even see the signals. rang support but they weren't much help at all ... and jsut said they will give me an email about it ... but still nohting from them after the whole day ... will probably go for a refund .... how sad ... any ideas people ?

well .. last night I opened up my 520 ... instlaled the software ... and guess what! the logitech site says it's under re-construction or something till 9am EST !! they really need to have some sort of cd with the most common codes on it or something like that ... so at the moment I can't do a thing with it!! it is really stupid so far ... it is still in this demo mode. got to admit that it is a great looking thing ,,, very sleek and really nice to hold ... it really makes my kameleon look like a dinosaur wish I can use the darn thing

I never use Macros ... switching on the kameleon is so easy and never found it troublesome at all and it's only 2 things I turn on each time anyway ... and now all I want the haromy to do it to control my HTPC properly ... basically jsut the arrow keys, back and enter. not really a need for much else in MCE 2005 ... and to turn my plasma on and off. Since I got rid of all my other components I now only have 2 that I use always ... I have a amp but I hardly use it now as I have 2 babies at home and I can never turn it up like I used to anymore ... so today .. I went out to dicksmith and bought a 520 ... about to try it out .. and the guy said to just open it carefully and if it doens't work with my system, bring it back for a full refund ... so I was happy with that .. I"ll report on how it all goes in a day or 2

I think I"m going to try out a harmony of some kind ... I really don't like LCD buttons much. the thing I can't find on their website is a list of supported hardware ... I'm only looking for it to control my HTPCs iMON IR can someone look it up for me if it exists or point me to where I can find it please ? thanx guys for all your input

actually, before I got the HTPC all the button for all 6 things I had matched up perfectly ... the kameleon is excellent and I really want to keep using it. it's been one of the best purchases I made. But now with an HTPC, things are abit different. so where did you get the phillips one from ? for $170 australian ? it looks pretty good ... co sthe harmony 520 is $197 at dicksmith ... but I know that it's only $99 US .. so we're really getting abit ripped off.

Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone has tried out a Logitech Harmony 520? If so, could you give some opinions on it? The thing certainly looks pretty cool and the price is alright as well ... at the moment I"m using a kameleon 6in1 and it's been perfect .... until I found that it is pretty much impossible to program it to control my new HTPC which uses a iMON remote. I have gone through dozens of forums and JP1 stuff and no one's cracked it yet. But I have heard that harmony remotes will control them. I'm also using it for the pio434 plasma and a onkyo amp. anyway .. just wanted to know if this thing is any good and if anyone has used it to control a HTPC that uses iMON. The iMON came with my silverstone LC10M cases. the other option I"m thinking of is to buy a IR wireless keyboard and try to get the kameleon to learn it's signals. Has anyone tried learning keyboard strokes to a universal remote ? thanx

yes .. my gigabyte 6600GT 256 has the looped passive heat sink around the top ... but I haven't seen any that doesn't loop over the top.

I just finsihed building a new HTPC ... got a gigabyte 6600GT 256mb ... together with it's Pure Video codec, the PQ is amazing I think it's even better than my Thomson HD STB ... so I"m very happy ... the 6600GT is even very good for games. I'm running it with component out at 1080i and it's unreal on the pio434 plasma. haven't read much about the X1300 ... but the X1800 are amazing! it's video encoding is blazingly fast ... I think I saw somewhere that a normal machine will encode a 5min DVD clip into Divx in about 2-3 mins ... but this the X1800 will do it in 24secs!

I had the same problem as well as the motherboard was not supplying enough power to the card through it's USB ... so I had to use the USB cable that was included plugged intot he back ... and now it's perfect. very nice.

yes ... it IS in a very bad position ... I have plugged in fully I will try the driver again ... would it make any if I also have the iMON remote working as well ? as it came with the case and it works well for everything. The only problem is I"m using a Kameleon 6in1 universal remote and there're no codes for the iMON and it won't learn the signals at all. The remote can learn signals from the tuner remote however .. so if I can use it, it'd be perfect. anyone have any ideas ? I've heard on another forum that the only universal remote that will learn the iMON codes is the Harmony ones ... anyone with any kind of experience in this ?

I Can answer one of the question 3 .. yes... the 4 pin goes into the USB2 connector on the motherboard instead of using the usb2 extender cable ... the only thing is my motherboard did not have enough power to run it so I had to use the cable .... hhhmmm... and yes.. the manual is really bad ... one problem I"m having is with the remote ... I just can't get it to work at all ... got drivers running and infrared thing pluged in .. but it doesn't see the remote ... any ideas anyone ?

I"m using MCE2005 .. it's perfect ... I"ve been using it for the last week on my new machine and it hasn't gone wrong yet though what I"ve been doing is pausing live tv and gone to do something else ... then come back and just press play and I can skip all the ads etc ... and all without any hickups at all

hi .. I've tried quite a few programs over the last 2 weeks trying to find the best one to use as a PVR ... like media portal, show shifter, etc etc ... but still ended up using MCE2005 which is the best and most realiable. you must get rollup2 patch for everything to work properly. I now use Bladerunner Pro to download EPG and it's been working perfectly with MCE ... it is so unbeleivably easy to use ... now all I do is look through the week's EPG and jsut pick which I want to record .. and can choose to record just once or a series, or everyday or week ... with one press of a button .. been testing it over the last week and has worked without fail. And works with double recording as well . I"ve never found it so easy

I am also using the nvidia Pure Video plugin with my 6600GT card .... which is excellent. I have been skeptical before about PQ as my old system was just abit blurry, fuzzy and abit flaky... my new system I just built is unreal now with all the new stuff you can get now
