Further Information

Up for sale are the Adelaide Ascension transmission line speakers. They are in the artisan cabinets which give them a classic art deco kind of look, and are hand made in Adelaide. The sound wonderful with deep bass and warm mids, they are quite sensitive and paired beautifully with the primaluna tube amp (pictured and also for sale) - despite their size the are easy to drive.

For $1000 they are an absolute steal quality wise.

I am selling as I bought some KEF r3 metas and subs  (that don't obscure so much of my view in my lounge room). As a result the speakers are pictured in my bedroom but they are better suited to a large room and so they are up for sale These are big tower speakers measuring 114cmx42cmx37cm. I no longer have the original boxes - so they are pick up only (or I'll deliver to Perth once sold if you don't have a car that can transport them).

The only fault in these is sadly the Blackwood veneer on the front has faded at a different rate where the speaker grills were attached. Purely cosmetic, and only noticeable with the grills off - if that weren't the case I'd ask a lot more for them. It would be possible to glue a new veneer over the top if you wanted to.

**** Ok so I've had someone from Melbourne, and someone from Sydney interested in buying these speakers -- pack and send quoted $1800 to ship them to Melbourne -- so these are really only viable for people from Perth sorry ***

looks like I'll be keeping these -- I'm actually relieved

if it were me I'd suggest to potential east coast buyers to call up some furniture removalists, give them the business & in the process hopefully help collapse the rip off merchants like pac n send
