Description
Selling my very special Audio Technica VM670SP package including;
Audio Technica VM670SP Cartridge & Stylus - (as new < 1 hour use) - RRP $299
Analogis Headshell (as new) - RRP $30
2 x Headshell Weights 2g and 4g - RRP $11
This is a complete Audio Technica VM670SP package as pictured. I’ve played 6 78RPM Shellac records to confirm its operation, which was perfect, and then stored, ready for a planned additional 78RPM turntable project, which I’ve decided not to proceed with due to other commitments.
All in pristine condition, this would suit someone looking to buy new at a substantial saving for everything in this package.
The included headshell is a genuine Analogis headshell, Model HS-10, with the VM670SP fully installed and aligned precisely at Technics specified 52mm overhang, ready for use…or of course, can be adjusted and aligned to suit installation requirements, or removed completely from the included headshell and installed to any headshell/tonearm you wish.
Includes all original packaging and accessories, as pictured.
Note: this is the same mono cartridge used for the Audio Technica VM610MONO, so by swapping out the included VMN70SP stylus with a VMN10CB stylus, this cartridge can be used for both 78s and MONO records.
Price includes postage, with tracking, anywhere in Australia.
Any questions or queries, please get in touch.

VM670SP
With a specialized body and internal wiring dedicated to monaural sound reproduction, plus a large curvature radius conical stylus, the VM670SP cartridge is designed for playing 78 RPM records. Part of the 600 Series in Audio-Technica’s new VM cartridge line – a line that harks back to A-T’s early days as a manufacturer primarily of high-end phono cartridges – the VM670SP is equipped with dual magnets that are internally connected to reduce record noise and obtain a highly focused “center” sound image that stereo cartridges can’t provide. The stylus’s 3.0 mil curvature radius makes it an excellent choice for playing 78s from a wide variety of eras. Includes mounting hardware.

Headshell for turntable Analogis HS-10
The analogis HS-10 headshell made of aluminium is designed to attach a cartridge with a standard 1/2″ fitting and to connect to turntables from almost all manufacturers with J or S tonearms and a locking nut (SME connection).
High-quality, color-coded connection cables with gold-plated contacts ensure a clean and lossless signal transfer. A rubber washer secures the firm connection between the headshell and tonearm. During the installation of the cartridge system, the overhang can be adjusted using the elongated holes.
The construction in classic Technics design has been proven over many years and is used by various reputable manufacturers. The headshell’s weight is 9.1 grams. An increase in weight by 2 or 4 grams can be achieved if necessary by adding optional screw-on headshell weights.
