Viewsonic Announces V57-4K RGB Laser Projector

ViewSonic has launched its new V57-4K Projector offering true 4K resolution, 100% BT.2020 colour gamut coverage, 5,200 RGB Laser Lumens, 4K UHD resolution, and HDR/HLG support.
The V57-4K promises to deliver exceptional image quality and versatile functionality for a wide range of users. True 4K resolution (3840x2160), offering users four times the detail of Full HD for razor-sharp images that bring content to life. Whether it’s the latest Hollywood blockbuster or an intricate business presentation, the V57-4K’s HDR10 support ensures that colors pop with unprecedented vibrancy and contrast, delivering rich, lifelike images with deep blacks and bright highlights.

James Hwang, Senior Product Manager at ViewSonic, told StereoNET:
With the V57-4K, we are redefining the standards for visual display technology. Whether you’re a home cinema enthusiast or a professional presenter, this projector offers unmatched clarity, color accuracy, and flexibility, all packed into a sleek, portable design.
Utilising advanced multiple laser projection, the V57 achieves 100% BT.2020 colour gamut coverage, delivering vivid, lifelike colours that bring your favourite shows to life. The absence of a colour wheel makes this a whisper quiet projector allowing the finest home cinema audio systems to shine.

The mercury-free and lamp-free light source guarantees consistent brightness for up to 30,000 hours, ensuring lasting entertainment enjoyment. The V57-4K RGB Laser utilises the Texas Instruments 0.65-inch 4K DMD chip, boasting a higher native contrast ratio than the conventional 0.47-inch chip.
The V57-4K RGB laser offers an incredible throw distance up to 14.88m that lets you project massive, crystal-clear images on any wall (throw Ratio of 1.4 - 2.24). Whether you're watching movies, sports, or your favorite show, enjoy an immersive experience like never before, with the flexibility to set up in larger spaces without sacrificing quality. It also features vertical lens shift and four corner adjustment.

Gamers have not been overlooked. It is among the first “Designed for Xbox” projectors, supporting Xbox-exclusive resolution and refresh rate combinations. With 1440p at 120Hz, it offers an optimal balance, ideal for popular consoles like Xbox X/S and PS5. Its ability to auto-adjust to the best settings further ensures a seamless gaming experience.

The Viewsonic V57-4K is available now and sells for AUD $5,499 RRP.
