Radiance AV and Vicoustic Australian Distribution Ends

Sydney-based distributor, Radiance AV, has announced it has ended its distribution agreement with Portuguese acoustic solutions brand, Vicoustic, effective December 31st.
Radiance AV has enjoyed a 10-year relationship with Vicoustic. According to the company, in that time, Vicoustic has been "the highest-selling Acoustic Treatment brand in Australia, notably available in almost every specialist retail outlet."
Chris Strom, General Manager at Radiance AV, told StereoNET:
With costs of freight increasing substantially, new competitors coming into the market as well as a shift towards Radiance AV's specialty in High-End Audio. It is time for us to move in keeping with our strengths.

Strom also extended his thanks to the loyal Vicoustic dealers and customers for their support to date and encouraged them to support the brand in the future.

There is much speculation relating to who the new distributor of Vicoustic in Australia and New Zealand, with an announcement expected soon.
