Qobuz has deepened its partnership with Denon and Marantz, bringing its high-resolution streaming and download service directly into the HEOS app via a free firmware update. The move allows HEOS users to browse and play their Qobuz libraries without leaving the multi-room control environment.

HEOS—Denon and Marantz’s proprietary wireless audio platform—powers a wide range of products, from soundbars and AV receivers to wireless speakers. It allows users to control music playback across multiple rooms via the free HEOS app for iOS and Android.

This latest update follows the successful rollout of Qobuz Connect on 15 May 2025, which allowed Qobuz subscribers to stream directly from the Qobuz app to any HEOS-enabled product. Now, with Qobuz also natively integrated into the HEOS app, listeners have even more flexibility in managing their music.

For multi-room playback, users can still start a stream via Qobuz Connect, then group HEOS-enabled devices through the app to distribute music throughout their home. Alternatively, they can stay entirely within the HEOS app, accessing Qobuz alongside other supported streaming services.
Dan Mackta, Qobuz's Managing Director for North America and Northern Europe, said the expanded integration underscores a shared commitment to choice and quality:
We’re proud that Denon and Marantz, through their excellent HEOS platform, were among the first to support Qobuz Connect from launch. We’re equally delighted to now be joining the HEOS app directly, giving users even more choice in how they enjoy the Qobuz experience.

Qobuz in the HEOS app is available now via a free firmware upgrade.
