Noble Audio Launches Lu Ban High-End Earphones

Noble Audio’s all-new Lu Ban is touted as a “precision-engineered hybrid in-ear monitor” and combines natural materials with “advanced magnetic driver innovation.”

Named after the legendary Chinese craftsman Lu Ban, the physical design “reflects precision construction and respect for materials.”

Each shell combines Cocobolo wood, selected for its structural stability and distinctive grain pattern, with a high-precision 3D printed resin internal framework. This, says Noble, ensures accurate driver placement and consistent acoustic geometry across every unit.

Lu Ban features a three-driver configuration comprising a 10mm wooden composite diaphragm dynamic driver paired with two newly developed Super-Magnetic planar drivers.

We’re told that this combo achieves a sensitivity of 108dB SPL/mW and an impedance of 27 ohms while offering “authority, speed and refinement across a wide range of sources.”

The 10mm wooden composite diaphragm dynamic driver is said to equip the Lu Ban with deep, controlled and textured bass, with Noble stating that “sub-bass extends confidently without overhang, while mid-bass remains articulate and balanced.”

Additionally, the company says that “!vocals carry body and presence” while “acoustic instruments retain natural decay and weight.”

The planar drivers’ Super-Magnetic architecture implements “a new generation, ultra-high magnetic energy neodymium iron boron material.” This advanced magnetic circuit design apparently enables faster transient response, improved micro-detail retrieval, and enhanced upper-frequency precision.

Lu Ban comes with a 4-strand OCC silver-plated cable (0.78mm 2-pin, 4.4mm copper gold-plated termination), plus an ear tip box and 9 pairs of tips.
