McIntosh has unveiled the MA2375 Vacuum Tube Integrated Amplifier, marking the American hi-fi marque’s first vacuum tube integrated amplifier in more than ten years as well as the first under new ownership.

For a brand whose reputation has long been tied to tube amplification, the MA2375 brings that signature sound and visual theatre into a format better suited to contemporary listening spaces.
The MA2375 combines a fully analogue vacuum tube pre- and power amplifier utilising four KT88 output valves and four 12AT7 driver tubes, alongside two 12AX7A and two 12AT7 preamp tubes in a single chassis. The design is aimed at giving tube fans the warmth and musicality they expect without the need for separates or plenty of rack space.
Said to deliver 75 watts per channel, the MA237 benefits from McIntosh’s Unity Coupled Circuit output transformers to maintain consistent performance with 4, 8 or 16-ohm loudspeakers.

In classic McIntosh fashion, the amplifier arrives with a polished stainless-steel chassis, glowing exposed valves and the company’s trademark blue watt meters.
McIntosh says its built-in Power Guard Screen Grid Sensor (SGS) tech and Sentry Monitor fuse-less protection are designed to support long-term reliability, while a configurable phono stage, subwoofer and preamplifier outputs, Data Ports and an RS232 control port help the MA2375 slot into both traditional stereo systems and more modern installations.
Further highlights include a five-band analogue equaliser, gold-plated Solid Cinch speaker binding posts and a High Drive headphone amplifier with Headphone Crossfeed Director (HXD).

Meanwhile, Power Control, Home Theatre PassThru and an included remote round out the package.
The McIntosh MA2375 will be available from 3 June, priced at £16,900 | €19,500 | A$29,995.
