Marshall has done it again with its Major V headphones, which boast a whopping 100-hour battery life, beating the already amazing 80-hour battery life of the Major IV, so says the rocking audio brand.
Martin Wennberg, Product Manager for Marshall headphones, told StereoNET:
With Major IV, we broke the mould with 80+ hours of playtime, but Major V goes miles further by taking the total to 100+ hours. To honour the first pair of headphones we ever made, every detail has been painstakingly considered and refined for the fifth incarnation of Major—from their explosive sound to their iconic design.
The Major V headphones have 40mm dynamic drivers, a 32 ohm impedance, and 106dB SPL. They can be charged via USB-C in three hours and even support wireless charging.
The headphones can fold in on themselves to become more compact for easy storage in your bag, and the M-button can now be customised to activate Spotify Tap, access EQ presets or the voice assistant.
MINOR IV
Marshall has also unveiled the Minor IV true wireless earbuds, which have seven hours of battery life in the earbuds and another 3.5 charges in the case, for a claimed total of 30+ hours of battery life.
According to the company, the earbud and stem have been re-designed and angled to create a better fit inside the ear canal, allowing the 12mm dynamic driver to reach its full potential. The earbuds support Bluetooth multipoint connectivity for easy switching between devices, and there's even an in-app battery preservation feature to help keep the battery in the earbuds working at full capacity for a longer time.
The Marshall Major V retails at £129, while the Marshall Minor IV earbuds cost £119. Both are now available for preorder and will be on the shelves from 23 April.
