Following on from its anniversary P-100 headphone amplifier, Luxman has announced an ultra-limited Black Edition Centennial system package to celebrate a century of Japanese audio excellence. The package features four of its most iconic components, each reimagined in sleek black with gold accents. To give you an idea just how limited this series is, we've been told only six of these complete sets will be made available in Australia.

Founded in 1925, Luxman has long been recognised for its pursuit of purity in sound reproduction and timeless design. The Black Centennial Edition honours this legacy by blending traditional craftsmanship with modern refinement across a complete system built for audiophiles and collectors alike.
The 100th Anniversary Black Edition Package includes:
- The L-509Z Black Edition Integrated Amplifier – Luxman’s flagship model, delivering warm, transparent sound with dynamic precision.
- D-07X Black Edition Super Audio CD Player – A high-performance digital source engineered for supreme sonic detail and musicality.
- PD-151 Mark II Black Edition Turntable – Fusing vintage analogue character with contemporary engineering and smooth operation.
- NT-07 Black Edition Network Transport – Luxman’s latest digital audio transport, combining modern networked playback with decades of in-house digital expertise.
Each unit features anodised black aluminium chassis work with gold detailing, exclusive to this commemorative series. More than a cosmetic update, these models have been individually tuned and calibrated to deliver peak performance as a unified system.

Due to this special calibration, the Centennial Black Edition Packages are offered as a complete system only. Bruce Thierbach, General Manager of Sales & Marketing, Audio Active Australia, told StereoNET:
This collection not only pays tribute to Luxman’s heritage but reflects an ongoing commitment to musical fidelity and craftsmanship. It’s an honour to mark 100 years with such a beautiful and exclusive offering.
For collectors, enthusiasts, and longtime Luxman fans, this may be one of the most desirable system releases of 2025—a chance to own a unified system that celebrates sound and a century of design and dedication.

The Luxman Black Edition Centennial Package is priced at A$54,999/ £35,000 and is now available for order through selected authorised Luxman dealers. Australian deliveries are expected to begin in June 2025.
