Kudos Audio Goes Active With McIntosh

Reference Audio hosts an open day, bringing two high-end companies together for a unique audio experience.
Head to Witham, Essex, on Saturday, July 1st 2023 and enjoy a UK-first at high-end audio retailer Reference Audio. There you will experience a specially calibrated McIntosh MEN220 used to optimise and bi-amp Kudos Audio's fabulous Titan 808 floorstanding speakers.

Utilising the MEN220's phase-coherent 2-way electronic crossover, the system will also benefit from the product's room correction software. Featuring RoomPerfect software, the MEN220 automatically creates a digital model of the listening room and corrects any frequency response anomalies, delivering the perfect listening environment.

The Titan 808's mid and high-frequency drivers will be powered by a pair of McIntosh MC901 dual-mono Hybrid Drive power amplifiers.

Meanwhile, the woofers will be driven by a brace of quad-balanced MC1.25KW monoblock power amplifiers.

Controlling the system is the duty of McIntosh's range-topping dual-box C1200 Hybrid Drive preamplifier, whilst music will be supplied from the company's reference-level DAC & CD player – the MCD12000.

A truly reference-level system, this will be the first time this system has ever been experienced in the UK, so it really should not be missed.

Other Kudos Audio speakers will also be playing during the event, including the Titan 606, Titan 505 and Cardea Super 20a.

For the chance to experience this UK first and what will undoubtedly be an impressive music system, register your interest via this Eventbrite link.
