KEF LSX II LT Lowers LS Series Cost of Entry
KEF's LSX II LT is pitched as a streamlined version of the Applause Award-winning LSX II active wireless loudspeakers
Promising the same key technological innovations we expect from KEF, the LSX II LT is the latest addition to the LS Wireless collection of plug-and-play speaker systems.
Sporting KEF's 11th generation Uni-Q driver array partnered with the company's Music Integrity Engine; we're told to expect a perfectly timed performance with a clear, accurate and balanced sound. The low-frequency drivers are powered by a 70W class D amp, while the high-frequency is pushed along by a 30W unit. Max. SPL is listed as 102dB.
Need more low-end presence? A dedicated output is also available to add a compact KEF subwoofer for the required impact.
Thanks to the W2 Wireless platform, the LSX II LT has instant access to major music streaming services, such as Spotify, TIDAL, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, with support for DSD and PCM up to 24bit/384kHz, Airplay 2, and Chromecast.
Meanwhile, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity expand your options even further alongside HDMI ARC, USB-C and optical ports, offering the flexibility to hook up your TV, desktop, laptop or gaming console.
You can easily adjust the sound using the KEF Connect app and powerful EQ DSP (Digital Signal Processing), enabling the LSX II LT to best suit your room.
The LSX II LT only requires a single power cord, as the primary speaker powers the secondary one via the interspeaker cable.
Mounting inserts enable you to use KEF's P1 desk pad and S1 floor stand. LSX II LT is also compatible with the specially designed C-Link interspeaker cable, made with high-tenacity fabric for enhanced durability and protection.
With an impressive length of 8 metres, the C-Link cable offers 5 metres more flexibility than the supplied cable, granting greater freedom in positioning the speakers according to personal preference.
