EXPOSURE CHOOSES BRISTOL HI-FI SHOW TO LAUNCH XM CD PLAYER AND PREVIEW VXN CROSSOVER

Kudos has now announced its partnership with British brand Exposure Electronics.

Exposure’s brand new VXN crossover enables active analogue amplification. Furthermore, it can be applied not only to Exposure’s award-winning electronics but potentially to any pre/power amplifier combination. Great news for everyone, then.

In an active system, rather than the usual scenario of one power amplifier channel per loudspeaker, there is one power amplifier per drive unit. So, in this case, in a 2-way loudspeaker design there would effectively be four amplifiers driving the speakers, and in a 3-way design, six amps.

The new VXN crossover, which has its own separate, linear power supply, by-passes the loudspeakers’ internal crossovers and connects between the preamplifier and the power amplifier(s). The result is superior control, grip and dynamics.

Additionally, Exposure will be launching their new XM top-loading CD player.
