Designed for serious home cinema enthusiasts, the EH-LS9000B delivers a full 8.3 million pixel resolution, producing a crisp 4K UHD image using Epson’s 3LCD technology. Brightness is rated at 2,200 lumens for both colour and white output, with a contrast ratio of 2,500,000:1—figures aimed at delivering deep blacks, shadow detail, and impressive image realism up to a screen size of 300 inches.

While technically a step below the flagship LS12000B, the LS9000B shares several key components, including a 15-element precision glass lens system engineered for edge-to-edge clarity and zero light leakage. Also carried over is Epson’s custom 32-bit image processor, which handles real-time colour mapping, contrast adjustment, and motion interpolation.

The LS9000B supports various HDR formats, including HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG, with full 10-bit colour processing. Epson says this allows the projector to accept 100% of the HDR source information, helping it faithfully reproduce high dynamic range content with rich gradation and colour accuracy.

Also on board is frame interpolation at 4K resolution, which inserts intermediate frames to reduce motion blur and improve image fluidity—particularly useful for fast-moving content such as sports or gaming.

As with Epson’s other laser-based models, the LS9000B is virtually maintenance-free. It uses a 20,000-hour solid-state laser light source that enables instant power-up and eliminates the need for bulb replacements. The projector also includes advanced lens shift capabilities (+/—96% vertical and +/—24% horizontal), motorised zoom and focus, and up to 10 lens memory presets—features that make installation more flexible in a wider variety of spaces.

For integration into modern smart homes, the EH-LS9000B includes support for leading automation platforms such as Control4 and Crestron, making it a strong fit for custom installations and remote system management.

The Epson EH-LS9000B is available now via authorised resellers for A$7,299 | NZ$7,799. In the US, the model is listed as the Pro Cinema LS9000, priced at US $3,999. Availability and pricing for other global regions have yet to be confirmed.
