Equipped with Epson’s improved high-brightness 4K and 3LCD technologies, the EH-QL3000W can deliver 6,000 lumens of equally white and colour brightness thanks to the upgraded laser optical engine. With a double micro-lens, the overlap area of light is minimised for a more efficient production of 4K image quality and to reduce brightness loss.

Derek Tan, Head of Sales and Marketing at Epson Singapore told StereoNET:

Epson is committed to delivering an elevated experience for modern consumers seeking premium, high-end home entertainment. Moving beyond the traditional dark home theatre setup, Epson’s high brightness technology powers the first-of-its-kind EH-QL3000W, delivering stunning images in any lighting condition. With superior image quality and convenient installation solutions for any space, the EH-QL3000W is set to become the go-to projector for customers seeking a luxurious home entertainment experience.

The new 4K image processing chip inside delivers 8.3 million pixels on-screen. It uses Dynamic Tone Mapping and Frame Interpolation to enable real-time image analysis and adjustments for optimal quality. Due to the higher brightness level, projected images now have more vivid colours and offer a wider range of brightness expressions. With HDR10 support, images are replicated with plenty of dynamic detail for all types of content.

There’s also HDMI 2.1 connectivity, Auto Low Latency Mode for gaming and a 4K/120Hz refresh rate for smoother content. It has a quoted throw ratio of 1.52 ~ 2.47, and manual keystone correction is available with vertical ± 64 % and horizontal ± 16 % lens shifts for tricky installations.

The projector's lenses are interchangeable, and optimal lenses can be selected for different installation needs, including ceiling-concealed installation since the projector is compatible with UST zero-offset lenses. With three lens housing colours for the Ultra Short Throw lens and an optional vanity board that goes atop the projector, the EH-QL3000W will easily fit into any home’s interior.

Epson also introduced new EpiqVision Mini Projector models, the EF-21 and EF-22, mini smart laser projectors that allow content viewing in different settings. The EpiqVision Mini projectors use 3LCD technology and offer full HD resolution, with a white and colour brightness rating of 1,000 lumens.

Derek added:

The EpiqVision Mini Projector series embodies our commitment to innovation and user-centric design. These projectors provide superior image and sound quality while offering unparalleled flexibility and ease of use to suit any lifestyle. Whether you’re setting up a home theatre, hosting an outdoor movie night, or need a portable solution for travel or presentations, we are excited to deliver this versatile entertainment experience to our customers.

It also supports HDR10 and has a contrast ratio of over 5,000,000:1. The laser light source offers up to 20,000 hours of use. The projectors also have two 5W speakers built in that support Dolby Audio.

The projectors are easy to set up, and time-of-flight sensors enable real-time auto keystone adjustment, auto obstacle avoidance, and auto screen fit features. One particular model, the EF-22N, comes with a wide-angle swivel stand, allowing for 360-degree horizontal and vertical rotation for different viewing angles.

The projectors run on Google TV OS and offer an improved user interface compared to previous projectors running Android OS, with simplified setup and login processes.

The Epson EH-QL3000W premium home theatre projector costs £12,800/ US$14,999 (without lens), and the EpiqVision Mini Projector models is priced at £649/ US$899.99 for the EF-21 and £849/ US$999.99 for the EF-22.
