Elipson Premium Subwoofers - The Perfect Bass for Hi-Fi & Home Cinema

Elipson's three-model Premium Subwoofer range promises "controlled and powerful bass" in a compact form.
The new Premium Sub series boasts "high-level acoustic performance" whilst ensuring perfect compatibility for all hi-fi and home cinema applications.

The Premium SUB 10, 12, and 15 are said to focus on versatility, precision, and modernity, with Elipson offering that the new range perfectly complements the recently launched Prestige Facet II loudspeaker line.
Core to the Elipson Premium Sub is its internal acoustic guide within the front-firing bass-reflex port. We're told that this carefully shaped internal baffle extends the internal acoustic path while ensuring smooth, laminar air velocity. The upshot of this is said to be a "drastic reduction of turbulence and acoustic compression," typically responsible for unwanted port noise and distortion.

The 395x360×442 mm [HxWxD] Premium SUB 10 pledges precise and controlled bass in medium-sized rooms. Featuring a 250 mm fibreglass cone, a 300W Class D amplifier, and a front-firing laminar bass-reflex port, it covers a claimed frequency response of 27 Hz – 200 Hz, free of turbulence, for both hi-fi and home theatre environments.

Equipped with a 300mm fibreglass cone and 500W Class D amp, the Premium SUB 12 is designed for demanding users looking for a combination of power, bass extension and acoustic control in medium to large spaces. Elipson states that this is the perfect choice for both explosive action scenes and nuanced musical passages, and is good for a frequency response of 22 Hz – 200 Hz.

Meanwhile, the Premium SUB 15 stands as the range flagship. This high-capacity subwoofer is designed for immersive, high-end systems, says Elipson.
Boasting a 380 mm driver powered by a 650W Class D amplifier in its 552x465×534 mm [HxWxD] cabinet, it should effortlessly fill even the largest rooms with depth and volume. The company says that the Premium SUB 15 has been "engineered to meet the expectations of top-tier home cinema systems and critical stereo listening." Elipson adds that this is a "no-compromise solution" for a truly visceral listening experience.

All three Elipson Premium subwoofers are now available, priced at £599 for the Premium SUB 10, £799 for the Premium SUB 12 and £1,299 for the range-topping Premium SUB 15. Further pricing is awaiting confirmation.
