Limited to just 45 units in celebration of Clearaudio’s 45th anniversary, this ultra-premium cartridge features an advanced zirconium oxide body, 24-carat gold coils, a boron cantilever, and a precision-cut Micro-HD diamond stylus. This is the highest-end cartridge the brand has ever made.

Robert Suchy, CEO of Clearaudio, told StereoNET:

The Diamond Jubilee MC is the result of our relentless pursuit of perfection. This cartridge sets new benchmarks in precision, dynamics, and sound fidelity. It is a fusion of innovation, craftsmanship, and passion, transforming every listening moment into an extraordinary experience.

The Diamond Jubilee MC is constructed from zirconium oxide, a material Clearaudio says was chosen for its exceptional hardness and stability. According to the company, this high-performance ceramic enables manufacturing tolerances as precise as a remarkable 0.001 mm, contributing to superior resonance control and minimal unwanted vibrations. Clearaudio claims this results in an ultra-pure, uncoloured sound reproduction that allows listeners to hear every nuance in their vinyl collection.

The design draws inspiration from Clearaudio’s legendary Goldfinger Statement V2.1. It incorporates ultra-thin 24-carat gold coils, which the company states enhance efficiency and contribute to detailed sound reproduction. An integrated high-frequency shielding system first introduced on the Goldfinger Statement is said to eliminate interference and preserve signal purity. Clearaudio also highlights the cartridge’s optimised magnet arrangement, featuring high-strength neodymium magnets and revised coil geometry, which it claims results in unparalleled dynamics and resolution.

Tracking accuracy is another key focus, with Clearaudio stating that the newly designed, angled cantilever provides superior performance in groove tracing. The precision-cut Micro-HD diamond stylus is said to capture the finest sonic details with remarkable accuracy. With a channel separation of over 35 dB and a channel balance of under 0.15 dB, Clearaudio claims the Diamond Jubilee MC offers a stereo image of exceptional depth, clarity, and realism.

The choice of zirconium oxide as the cartridge body material is particularly noteworthy. Clearaudio highlights its extreme hardness, outstanding resonance stability, and ability to maintain precise tolerances, making it ideal for high-performance applications. The material is also highly resistant to chemical and environmental factors, ensuring long-term durability. Its smooth surface and polishable quality also contribute to this MC’s striking aesthetic.

Positioned as the pinnacle of its cartridge engineering and offering what it the company claims is an unprecedented level of accuracy and musicality, there will be only 45 units available worldwide.

For those seeking the ultimate vinyl experience, Clearaudio’s latest creation represents a significant investment in cutting-edge technology, precision craftsmanship, and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of analogue sound.

Available now, it is yours for a suitably special €25,000/$29,000/£22,000.
