The Barcelona winger and Beats ambassador has been spotted in recent social posts and training-camp imagery wearing a pair of light pink Beats-branded over-ear headphones that do not match any current Solo 4 or Studio Pro colourway. That alone would normally be enough to raise a few eyebrows, but the timing is particularly interesting. As first spotted by Aaron Perris and reported by MacRumors, an Apple device with the model number A3577 recently surfaced in US Federal Communications Commission filings.

Those filings describe the product only as Bluetooth over-ear headphones with an integrated battery, microphone and antenna. Apple has not confirmed the branding, name or launch timing, but several Apple watchers have linked the filing to the headphones seen with Yamal. The visible Beats “b” logo on the earcups also makes it clear this is not the long-rumoured next-generation AirPods Max.

From the images shared so far, the new model looks to us like a clear visual shift away from the current Beats Studio Pro. That model launched in 2023, but its basic shape still owes plenty to earlier Studio designs. This unreleased pair appears cleaner and more restrained, with flatter outer earcups, a redesigned headband and slimmer tubular yokes that give it a fresher, less familiar Beats profile.

The hinge arrangement also suggests the earcups will rotate flat for storage, rather than folding inward in the traditional Beats clamshell style. The glossy finish, meanwhile, nods back to earlier Beats designs, while the overall shape looks neater and arguably more compact than the existing Studio Pro.

The current Beats over-ear champion: Studio Pro
Where the new headphones will sit in the Beats range is uncertain; they could be a direct Studio Pro successor, though some reports suggest they may instead form part of a new or non-Pro Studio line, sitting below the flagship model in price. Either way, the design suggests more than a simple colour refresh.
Another question is what might be happening inside. Recent Beats products have tended to use custom Beats silicon rather than Apple’s H-series chips, allowing the brand to maintain strong Android compatibility while still offering convenient pairing and ecosystem features for Apple users. Whether that strategy continues here, or whether Apple uses the new model to preview technology destined for a future AirPods Max update, remains to be seen.

Beats has long understood the value of having athletes and musicians preview products before launch, and using Yamal ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup feels very much in character. It's not a conventional announcement to be sure, but it's hardly subtle either.

At the time of writing, neither Apple nor Beats has announced a product name, specifications, pricing or availability. With regulatory paperwork already in motion and a global football audience now paying attention, a formal launch would not be a surprise in the coming weeks.
