Aspire Turntable Aims to Enhance J Sikora Brand Accessibility

J.Sikora's Aspire turntable is unveiled at Axpona ahead of its European debut at the final High End show in Munich.
The high-end Polish analogue audio specialist has taken the wraps off its new Aspire turntable, which is announced as allowing "a wider group of analogue lovers to enjoy the quality sound of a J.Sikora turntable."

The company states that it has "leveraged years of experience building some of the finest turntables on the market" to create the Aspire and offer a new entry point to the aspirational brand, which is currently the Initial range starting at €7.350.

Even though it will be comparatively more accessibly priced, the Aspire turntable is said to retain the J.Sikora design philosophies and benefits from key technologies trickled down from the upper-end tables.

The Aspire features a 4kg Delrin platter on an inverted ceramic ball bearing. Meanwhile, a DC motor powers the rubber belt. The 430 x 350 x 180mm turntable weighs 21kg and is constructed of aluminium, cast iron, and inox.

The new turntable accepts one tonearm and the push-button speed control for both 45 and 33.3 RPM.

According to the company, the Aspire is characterised by "exceptional speed stability, isolation from external resonances", and we are told to expect it to retain the sound quality that has made "J.Sikora turntables so beloved around the world."

Retail pricing for the J.Sikora Aspire turntable has it starting around €5,900 for the deck only, €7,500 with the Aspire tonearm/basic power, and €9,800 with the upgraded KV9 tonearm and linear power supply. It will be available in silver, black, and white.
