Haptique RS90: New Universal remote, Looking for Hi FI services to integrate

Featured Replies

Hello,

So far, we have identified a few integrations that are most in demand for AV setups. Of course, Hi-Fi is distinct; we would be interested to learn which streaming mediums users will need on any remote. We have considered integrating Roon and Volumio into our remote. Attached is the roadmap for your review. We hope to learn more about your needs from you.

Currently, Spotify Connect is integrated into Haptique.

I am not sure how well it would work with a streaming service without an integrated keyboard. It might be OK with HT to browse for a movie you want to watch with up/down/left/right buttons but with music streaming, we tend to search for music. This means a keyboard of some kind is needed.

Roon, Spotify, Apple Music (unlikely) pretty much covers the core IMO.
Interested to see how this develops. Have PMd you also.

Please, oh please, just do what Logitech did and deliver a replacement for that.
Remote Two showed so much promise and failed spectacularly. Now they want us to pony up for Remote Three without fixing everything in the previous model. Sofabaton is the next best thing, and that brand is growing quickly as a result.

Oh, don't forget LIFX integration too.

That would be a really good outcome if it came to pass. Would be even better if there were 3 or 4 different price points (cheapish, middle-ish, dear-ish) to cater for differing complexity/needs.

Let's start with just one first! 🙂
I don't care the cost, as long as it's a (lot) less than an automation system and programming!

Thanks we will surely check this and plan integration accordingly in our roadmap for 2025.
