Scanspeak 26w/4558T00 long excursion 10” subwoofer driver

Up for sale a NEW in box (unused, never connected to any amplifier), 26w/4558T00 long excursion 10” subwoofer driver.
Scanspeak are a high-end speaker manufacturer based in Denmark. They have been making some very expensive and exotic drivers for decades (featured in $50,000 speakers)
This driver features an aluminium cone with a high temperature voice coil with a shorting ring (to reduce voice coil inductance). Max excursion is 25mm and max’ mechanical excursion is 56mm.
The chassis is die-cast aluminium to keep weight down. This could be used with a slightly higher than normal crossover point if required:
The low resonant frequency and medium QTS means that it can used in a sealed, ported or Passive Radiator enclosure. Sealed might require a bit of EQ to bring up lower frequencies if the sub’ is not room loaded or in a vehicle.
Expect very tight bass with low distortion, high power handling and excellent reliability.
Apparently these drivers are used in the Bang and Olufsen Beolab 90 - $110k a pair and the highly regarded Magico S5 - $80k a pair.
