    I'm not sure if it matters, but if you're demonstrating the turntable in-store, you have the belt incorrectly located.

     

    It should go around the groove towards the bottom of the rotating platter, not above one of the rubber bands that go around it.

    Correct, so the motor probably needs lowering a bit so the belt is near parallel. I have NA with the same tone arm and Van den Hul Frog Gold cartridge and it produces a very detailed and musical soundscape provided things are not over tightened. GLWTS
