SOLD ELSEWHERE: Infinity RS2.5 3 way speakers

Further Information: Very rare model from Infinity.These were built in 1983 in the USA & were around US$3000 at that time.

They are vintage & collectable to Audiophiles.They are a fantastic speaker from top to bottom in sound reproduction.They require at least 100w per channel & they swing down to 1 ohm at times so they require very reliable amplification.

I was using them with Naim & Krell amplification & they were very happy with that.

The more power they get the better they get.

If you are looking for a fantastic speaker for this kind of money then an audition in Perth WA is a must.Sorry pick up only or can send to Pack & Send for over east buyers.

Practically nothing touched Infinity back then, and still don't even today. But they do need an amp with some serious gonads (current) to drive them to their best.

I had two pairs at one time - as George says, they were very good. Especially with high current ME or Krell amplification.

In some ways, I even preferred them to the 4.5.
