Superb sounding streamer with loads of features all configurable via the excellent Lightning DS app. Output can be either fixed or variable so it can be used as a preamp. A hard drive can be added internally (kit extra) or an external HDD can be connected to the rear USB port which is how I have been using it. The Altair also works as a server so your music collection can be easily made available to other devices on your home network. Current RRP $3995.
