Soundproof material

Featured Replies

I could finaly convinced my wife to block the glass door, but leave the door intact just in case for future so building frame and Gyprock or green or blue board ...so now I want to use some material like fibreglass Batts between door and wall Screenshot_20220427-121241_Realestate.jpg.39c6d31eda727ec3192ef674f06beecf.jpg but it seems impossible find any in Sydney...do you have any suggestions what can I use ? If using car sound deadening rolls useful ? Appreciate your comments

as per your other thread

don't block the glass door if the glass door meets your isolation requirements...you said in the other thread, "the Glass already is thick, I am sure is double glazed ... its very sound proof"

If the existing glass wall meets your isolation/sound proofing requirements, I can't see any reason why you would consider closing it in/covering it??
