Saxon Hall Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Just noticed this yesterday. I was driving home from work and a van pulled up beside me with the sides emblazoned with signs promoting this business. I looked up the website and it looks interesting. Web based but an audition can be arranged in their Campbellfield Vic showroom. The prices on their restored vintage equipoment look reasonable. Anyone have any more info on them? Are they new? Has anyone bought anything from them? http://www.rvhifi.com.au/
Bus_Boy Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Either they are extremely good at restoring items, or the photos of the units are photos of new units, and not the actual item, unless every item is in superb condition...

quadrodude Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 (edited) It's great to have a new retro hi-fi shop starting up, and not too far from me either...but those prices are a bit on the steep side....Marantz 2230B for $699..??!! and it says it's on sale... Vortexjah Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I stumbled accross this website the other day when I was doing some research on Luxman turntables. I did not realize they were a new company. Always good to have vintage restorers selling wares.
RV HIFI Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Hi Everyone, Andrew here from RV HIFI. Glad to see the new van has been spotted out there!!! As you can see from the website, we are passionate about Retro and Vintage HIFI. We have stock listed on the site which has been restored but also have a great deal of stock which has not yet been restored. If there is something specific someone is after then we can move that up our "to do" list. All the photos on the site are of the actual items, we do take a bit of time taking proper photos to show the quality of the pieces. So if we can help with anything please feel free to drop us a line at admin@rvhifi.com.au or give us a call on (03) 9357 6557. We can also service and restore your equipment as well as build custom HIFI furniture. Thanks, Andrew RV HIFI
