I cant try as JB update not ready. Cheers yes my player is jailbroken. the dvd-a iso file is on a thumbdrive - i don't have a NAS.

The main thing is that you lose all auto-Eq and the Oppo has basic bass management.

I don't use the auto eq on the umc1 because it's works funny. Bass management wise, I think I can just use the controls at the back of the kk808 right? BTW, if I connect my htpc to the oppo via HDMI, does the oppo improve picture quality of mkv files (about 4-12gb) types that have dts encoding. Sent from my 402SH using Tapatalk

Sadly.. none of the european makers have done anything value for money to buy.. Jap n korean sets have been doing that.. But the color push is too much..

True... all personal likes I believe Darbee will enhance the PQ nicely otherwise Oppo wont adopt their technology in their model 103D/105D and also sell separately (quite expensive). Perhaps you may try to use Darbee on your avatar... surely saliva will drop ;D

Can I also check what version of Netflix you have on your oppo? Is it 4.0.4 or 4.0.6? Cheers.
