PSV
Item: PS Audio GCPH Phono amp Location: Sydney Price: $600 Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Upgraded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal (buyer to pay fees), COD or Direct Deposit Extra Info: This is a very good phono pre amp for the money. I was very happy with the PS Audio for a long time, and have only found a better pre at several times its price. It has both RCA and balanced output. Comes with manual, remote and original box. I can ship anywhere at cost, and double boxed. The only limitation is if you are using a very low output cart, 0.3mV or below, and like to listen loud so using highest gain, it can then be a bit noisy. For any other cart it is really good. NOTE: This is a 110V version, and it comes with a quality Tortech step down transformer. See favourable reviews below: http://www.10audio.com/psaud_gcph.htm http://thevinylanach...eamplifier.html http://www.stereophi...reamps/106gcph/ Or look it up on Google and find your own reviews - they are all positive. vmhf
Great phono for the price. I had one on demo for a while and enjoyed it immensely. Superb build quality as well.
sean
I second that, it is a very good phono stage. $1200 will get you one from fleabay so this is a bargain. I own the 240V model and wouldn't think of selling it. Would cost considerably more to upgrade to something better. Like Pauly has stated it doesn't do very low output MC's. I am running a 0.5mV MC and have to run a step up trans to get enough volume control(hope that makes sense) I think any cart that has a voltage of less than 2.5mV might cause some concern, IMHO. Good luck with the sale Pauly and hope you didn't mind me putting in my 2 cents worth! Edited June 29, 2012 by sean
