Hi all GuRu,

just a small project added into this topic  ;)

I've change my dali zensor crossover electrolytic capacitor to mundorf M-cap.

Hope you all like it

Hi GAGA@echoloft , thank for your advice i've remove and check and it's ok the resistor not hot maybe the coil too small izzit? btw my speaker running for abt 5hr when i removeed the crossover to check. maybe i'll insert something in between it but wat material can i use? thxs again

Do you think i  can use a small piece of acrylic plastic to support it? really want to thank all guru for the valuable advice.

 

You want also wish to support the vertical standing cap for stability.

spongy like material is preferred as it does provide support

one example is those thick double sided adhesive tape but looking at your crossover it might not be applicable.

foam might be a good choice but be aware that it will disintegrate over time with high temp.

try your acrylic plastic since is available right away

Maybe it's ok as it is now because it's already glued to something. I won't lose a sleep because of that.

 

How's the sound after changing?

yes synthesis I've check and the resistor is running cool even long hour of listening, all the component in the crossover is applied with hot glue the cap , resistor and coil when I open out. I'm sure it's ok cheers And the m-cap is better , some tone and note which can't hear now appear. Can really feel and not only listen to the music
