I am on #04, and there is kid who blasts 4 subs in his room on #08, and I can hear his sub like its playing in my living room. :o Although I don't hear the music.

 

It must be both ways^^ Yours is bass travel from 08 to 04... my place here is 08 or 09 come up to my 13...& it sound like its pounding the concreat beam like that.

My wife's sis home at ponggol central, the ceiling light in living room will vibrate when ever the home upstair have movie time.

get some bass shakers and mount them on the wall instead of the sofa and see how you go... :D

So the immediate impacted is the downstair neighbour as their ceiling is same as the bass shaker's floor. Lucky me no one below me on #04  ;D

What is the reason for center to be aligned slightly higher than LR?

Raise center speaker sound image height?

Because the centre is sitting on top of the subwoofer , until the another sub is purchase to level the left and right . Therefore , the centre is adjusted down a bit . By the way , jbl speakers had a very large angle coverage , making it sound very  natural .

Ur making me miss my old 4425 already. Lol

Haha they do look mean but in terms of sound ; smooth n clear , meaning able to hear a lot of smaller details previously my other speakers may not be able to capture .

Thanks bro , that i must agree . Cons look ugly , poor resale value , bulky and heavy . The pros u have mention, the sound from the spks  making me to spent more time rewatching some of the old movies . Total no regrets changing to pro speakers .
