width is ~2.7m, length is ~3.2m. Small only. Now looking to upgrade centre speaker 1st.

What the speaker r u upgrading ?

Currently Polk Audio satellites 5.1 mix with Heco Victa 601 floorstander. Using Denon Avr 1911. Plan to try 2nd hand stuff for the centre speaker. Will get a bigger fullrange, from the forum here.

I got a 2nd hand PSB Alpha C1 for only $120. Very neutral clear sound.

Also just added a Wharfedale SW150 subwoofer & set my crossover to 80hz for main speakers instead of default 40.. Sounds much better now!

Bro could you please help me to understand who is Peng n Nicholas how can I contact them and do they do electrical work as well for HT? curious...please advise.

 

 

 

 

 

Thank guys . A lot of planning n effort has been done to ensure the media room is built to specs , Peng n Nicholas has been helpful in making this happen . The side surround is hidden at the side wall .As for the Anthem I was lucky to get it from a fellow bro . As for now just doing up fine tunning n getting used to the sound . The next upgrade could be adding another mbm , antimode eq n emotiva xpa 1 to power the center spks .

Econav is next to Anson audio but the shop is not called Econav. I was Adelphi yesterday and decided to meet this famous character called Peng whom I know only through this forum but never personally Ended up chatting about alot more things other than hi-fi. He is quite a character and I enjoyed my hour with him tremendously He is also very generous with his advise on hi-fi.

 

Was really nice to meet up with you Peng and will surely drop in whenever I am in Singapore.

I can vouch for that. I dropped by that day with the intention to get an Anthony Gallo A diva TI but he convinced me that the A diva wouldnt fit my purpose and i need something more ups ale. He took the trouble to explain everything and demo everything! Even speakers which were of various types just to show me the difference in sounds!

Latest update , after selling most of my emotive speakers n rythmik subwoofer , decided to get jtr triple 8 speakers & dual seaton submersive . Peter Seow is helping me out for the shippment n directly payment to the dealer. Hopefully the jtr triple 8 sound ad good as what the review says .  ;D

This might be a noob question as I am. I wonder if the projector screen alter the front speakers SQ placed behind it. Does it muffle the highs ? Do you need to EQ to take care of it ? curious how it works....

 

Actually it doesnt muffer the high as the screen is transparent  . Based on my previous speakers ,sound no different with n without the screen .

Updated on my equipment : front speakers and cente speakers Jtr triple 8 ht lp and subwoofers seaton submersive x 2 .
