wind30 Posted November 2, 2005 Author Posted November 2, 2005 yeah, got back on sunday. digital pj dont bloom but they max out on the prime colours. not like crt where imgae will be skewed. wat u can do is put on the respective rgb test pattern at 100 ire. then increase the contrast one step and get the luminance reading of spyder. where the reading stop to increase, reverse one click, that will be the position of the max out point of the respective rgb. do the same for all 3 rgb. the lower of contrast level of the respective rgb will be the contrast position. ok. thanks for the info. Somehow the picture doesn't look as good as b4. Less punchy... The picture is more subdued. Do you guys feel that way after caling your PJ? I think optoma purposely cal the set such that the greens are greener and the sky is bluer :)
