nice rack?

although these pics were taken quite a while ago, i've worked on the same rig at least a dozen times since...

speaker stacks (per side)

2X EV MTH-9 and 2X MTL-2B

MTH-9 = 2 manifold midrange driver and 2X manifold horns per bin

MTL's = 2 18" drivers in a manifold bandpass arrangement

each MTL gets 1.5Kw, and the MTH's get 0.6Kw

top pic was taken at night, just after setup at BDO, the 16ch mixing desk is on the left in 2nd pic with power amps below it, the extra amp is for the foldbacks.

the stack on the right, has lots of gear...

2X 31 band Eq's

2X compressors

1X Dat recording device

1X crossover

1X 3 phase distrbution panel

and other stuff that i've forgotten about!

we've also run this setup with double the amount of bins and amps

it's not a huge amount of power for a PA rig... the sound engineer (in 1st picture) has run a similiar setup, but with lots more bins and bigger amps, with 80kW of power behind it.

however, the nature of this gear, is that it's pretty sensitive 101db/watt from 1m. (anechoic environment with sine sweep)
