Flea3 Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Hi thanks for adding me. I was hoping someone could shed some light on what year my stereo is from & how much it may be worth? Thanks in advance, fi
bob_m_54 Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 There should be a model number on the back of the components. Try Googling them.
Pops110 Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Hi Fiona, They probably aren’t worth a lot of money, maybe around $150 for the TT, less than a hundred for the amp and the speakers probably a bit less than that. What are the model numbers and might be able to get a bit closer to the mark. Cheers Dave.
wen Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 looks like a Pioneer Rhondo 3000 system from the 70's
audiofeline Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Welcome to the forums Fiona. Yes, the turntable looks 1970's vintage, entry level but a solid performer for what it is. The Pioneer Rhondo 3000 system was a very popular entry-level system back in those days. I would agree with the above valuations, maybe a little less for the TT; the perspex cover looks in good condition which is always a positive. It would still make a good first system for a young person. Also, I would screw/attach the headshell onto the arm, and if you're not using it put the plastic stylus protector on to safeguard any damage being done to the delicate part of the tt. 1
