Item: Naim CD3.5 CD Player
Location: Barwon Heads, Vic
Price: $595
Item Condition: Very good
Reason for selling: no longer used
Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only
Extra Info:

I am currently selling my complete Naim system on stereo.net (see Complete Naim System: Naim 250 CB Power Amp, Naim 102 Pre Amp, Naim CD3.5 CD Player, TeddyCap and all cables), but here I am offering my Naim CD3.5 as a separate unit.

I would strongly prefer a PERSONAL pick up, as I will demonstrate the CD3.5 working in my home to the successful purchaser.

The CD3.5 in excellent condition, working perfectly, unmarked, and sounding beautiful! I am fastidious about looking after my hi-fi, and only I am allowed to operate it. It is used in a separate " music room" where I also play my piano in our non-smoking home. Complete with its original box, manual and invoice. I am the first and only owner.

Naim CD3.5 CD Player. Serial #156650. Complete with Naim remote control, power cable, SNAIC Grey 5-pin DIN interconnect, puck, transit bolts and link pin

Several members have asked if the CD3.5 can output to RCA leads. Yes, easily. I have this adaptor that I can provide to a buyer who wants an RCA connection.

I thought 'd bring to attention that this is a NACD 3-5.

and Not a NACD3-5

apparently the dot after the 3-5 makes it different as it came later.

You are incorrect. The number CD3-5 was Naim's official nomenclature, but it was known generally as CD3.5. Please see Naim's product history :

https://www.naimaudio.com/product-history and check my serial number #156650 against Naim's serial numbers: https://www.naimaudio.com/serial-numbers and you will see that my CD was manufactured in 1999. I can provide my original invoice for my CD3.5 to the buyer.

Thanks for the links, I have a Naim CD3 #109583 (1995) and I've always wondered about it's lineage.

Good luck with the sale.

You are correct, it seems I was very misinformed.:)

It'd be great if all manufacturers had this info online.
