The worry is the requirement to email him before you bid, is this so he can convince you to go outside of ebay and pay by Western union or something similar or is there another angle on this. ( Strange though he has 100% feedback?)
Bruno28 Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Yes scam. I've seen many other listings of items that Interested me and all of those that ask to be contacted before bidding is a scam. They will get removed soon. I always report these, so they get deleted and no one gets scammed. Don't email them. They probably get your email and try to hack into your eBay and PayPal. That ebay account most likely has been hacked too and they put that listing. It's funny how most items that are hugely discounted go for asking price of $1000. Normally usd.

I saw a camera that I wanted that normally sells second hand for around $3500. And they had for $1000. And it's always asking you to email them before bidding. I'll report that one.

Snapper() Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Unquestionably a scam. I had a good search for that email address and it turned up everywhere including lots of fake airbnb scams. Have a look at seller feedback and prior sales and its all water and filtration based products and now it's all tech.Also .. all of their current ads end exactly the same time meaning they were posted using a bot or auto uploader. Some of the content is still urlencoded as well as a testing of the process.
