WITHDRAWN OR RELISTED: FS: Mitsubishi HC4000 1080P Projector

Featured Replies

Hi All , My Dad's finally upgrading his projector so selling off this little bargain, it's still in its orginial plastic wrap so is like brand new,

It has 1744 hours use of it's 5000 hour globe so plenty left, comes with everything as new.

Looking at $750 for it, it's a better picture than anything you can buy new up till about the $1800-$2000 mark.

See specs below.

RRP : $3399

Technology: DLP Dark Chip 3

Native Resolution: 1920x1080

Brightness (Manufacturer Claim):1300

Contrast: 4000:1

Zoom Lens Ratio: 1.5:1 Manual zoom and focus

LifeLamp life: 3000 hours at full power, 5000 hours in eco mode

How does this compare to a JVC X3?

Also is it safe to keep the plastic wrapping on the device? Wouldnt that sort of stop the heat fro dissipating?

The X3 would be superior to this projector.

The plastic isn't covering the vents so it's all good

price drop $650

Hi Crumpet,

Can you tell me what screen size range this will throw at 4.2m? Also do you have boxes etc and are you happy to ship to ADL?

Thanks Mate

HI mate,  At 4.2m you could get up to 130" but i wouldn't recommend bigger than a 110" . I have all the boxes and etc so happy to ship at your expense

cheers

Rob

Great,

Thanks Rob, my screen is 108" so that's pretty much perfect...

Happy to cover shipping (assuming it's not ridiculous) - just trying to ascertain that it's the right move from my 8720 which is a relic (but it's MY relic!) but still has PQ that i enjoy.

I'll take this discussion to PM now if that's ok ;)

Thanks,
Alex

@MouldyCrumpet

Hi Rob,

I'm sorry but i don't think i can get this PJ to work in my installation due to the screen offset and lack of lens shift.
