Stereo.net.au the highest turning online/offline stereo business in Australia?

Featured Replies

Previously I have been a buyer of items on the is website.

In hte last three days I have started to sell.

Based on the total turnover in the classsifields, would stereo.net.au be the highest turnover audio related business (online or bricks and mortar) "business" in Australia.

Everyday items in the classifields are sold.

If we include financial support of the sponsors, then would it be number 1?

(I still have three items to sell).

(the sad smiley on the topic header is an error - please correct.)

I pose these questions for discussion as I don't know (and please don't flame me for asking).

I doubt it, Firefly. Eastwood Hi-Fi claim to be the biggest online retailer in the country. Wicked Digital, I imagine, would move plenty of stock and let's not forget ebay.

The advantage of this place is that you generally know who you are either buying from or selling to. Bun fights in the SNA classified section are few and far between.

Well your namesake is a colourful character, Steve. I'm glad I included the word 'claim' in my previous post.

Best for industry members not to name or discuss the "apparent" business of others within the industry also. Bit of an unwritten SNA rule that needs to be pushed I think, moving forwards.

My original question was to consider how successful this web site in discussion audio equipment etc as well as exchanging items.

Form my perspective, I have purchased items on the advice of SNA members.
