I'm interested ~ the best price I can get is $1840 from JB. If you can get a better price, I would consider it.

Justification of one's own purchases is rife here.... I think one culprit are the many group buys that have made clone out of many of the members setups... lemmings is what I always see... I laugh on the inside at this

They wouldn't have a leg to stand on. The 'respected' members had a go at me recently for moving from a Pioneer 610AV to a Toshiba XDE to a Pioneer 51FD for what I felt was the best in DVD upscaling.

Changing one's mind in the light of new evidence is a strength.... and these guys laugh it off...

You have to have an Elektra amp to qualify for that

Thanks for the commentary and the aggregation of all the comments etc.... shows some real dedication... but you've plucked things out of context....

The key was the 'clone setups'... ie... systems that have been made up of gb purchases... this is the first I've shown interest in... only to have another post like the one here...

Let me say though that for anyone considering it, yoracs organisation on this is excellent and you won't be disappointed in the effort and work he's put in for this...

Okay, thanks to all for your interest thus far, I am still trying to sort out freight issues for this GB and hope to have news by next Monday.

As we now have to start looking at making firm commitments I will close this GB off next Friday 6th March at midnight, I thank those who have committed so far however to secure pricing we now need to know where others stand as soon as possible, at least 10 buyers are required to secure the pricing offered at this point, please confirm or decline your interest to me at your earliest convenience preferably by PM.

My target price was less than $1500 which is probably unrealistic
