gone_bush Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Looks like the NSW Trophy Cabinet is empty. State of Origin north of the border, Premiership Cup south. But I'm sure that a cockroachwill inform us that NSW holds the World Tiddly Winks Title, or something equally inconsequential. :ducks:

mello yello Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 All the bandwagon jumpers Ill let Cameron "Call Me Cam" Smith sum it all up when he was being interviewed after the game and Joey asked him ..."what were you thinking with 8 minutes to go and they were coming back at you for golden point" Cammi: "I thought I might have needed to get a new pair of Speedos" ( unquote) he shat himself

Gracious in victory as always Silly Slater nearly blew the match right away from under them..as is his usual form I wouldnt want to have him as my fullback in a tight squeeze....cant hold onto a ball when a guy has him around the legs I was right about one thing..it was a good tough grind and worthy of a great Garand Final congratulations to The Parramatta Eels for having made the Grand Final from 3rd last with 8 weeks to go.....for going down narrowly to the raging hot favourites ....for never giving up. ...and for taking the fight ...right up em
mello yello Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 ..and to the gallant Wests Tigers U20s for the teams they had to beat to even make the GF ..and for also going down narrowly ...to the bounce of the ball
mello yello Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 ..and to both Melbourne teams for providing two thoroughly entertaining Grand Finals ..and for finally realising they dont have to resort to grubby dangerous grapple tactics and win football games on their own merit how you blokes off for Speedos down there
