Guest JimboTHX1138
This is for the PV series, but should be the same. Goto Channel 99 turn bass to full turn treble to minimum hit "-/v" on TV and "index" on remote simultaneously. (this is the tricky part, Service menu 1 should come up, otherwise hit "-/v" first QUICKLY followed by "index" on the remote) You should be in Service menu 1. Hit red button on remote once and then press "hold" on remote to access service menu 2. Hit the red button again to access the panel up time. Guest JimboTHX1138
didnt work, tried it on both the analogue and the digital. Open the front flap: Hold down the V- Key while pressing "0" on the remote three times in quick succession Should be in service menu. Press exit to exit the service menu. brett174
I spent hours on avforums looking to see if it was possible. No-one I know of has been able to access the service menu. Apparently you need a "service remote" whatever that is, to be able to do so.

I take it you just use the red button to cycle the menu to get the panel up time?
brett174
Excellent. I take it you just use the red button to cycle the menu to get the panel up time? Well, bugger me! It works. I take back everything I said Though I cant work out how to see the uptime hours
cyrax83
I think the uptime is the number on the right of the main screen on the second row under Model ID mine shows 00000020, so 20 hours I think which sounds about right.
brett174
I dont think that's it. Mine says the same, and I've definitely had it running for more than 20 hours.
Guest JimboTHX1138
Just read this at AVForums. There is another sort of menu which is a self checking diagnostics readout which did the rounds a month or so. To get this, do exactly the same as for the service menu but substitute the 'i' (info) button on the remote instead of the '0'. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Try the "0" again. To get this, do exactly the same as for the service menu but substitute the 'i' (info) button on the remote instead of the '0'. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. The INFO button takes you to the service menu, IF you press the MENU button instead of the INFO button this will take you to the self dianostics screen & WILL RESET ALL SETTINGS. & I mean ALL ! I know this because I just spent the last hour resetting my tv after having a look at the self dianostics screen USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. is right I still havn,t been able to find the hours used Edited November 7, 2007 by uhf
