.... placed a projector behind the bed-head to project onto the ceiling, so that you can lie in bed and watch a movie/tv? I had thought of doing something simple with a benq w100 run through my laptop and self powered pc speakers (2.1) on the bedside tables.

If anyone has done something like that, how well did it work? was fan noise a prob?, screen angle? motion sickness?

Any other odd PJ/HT set-ups anyone would want to do just to see if it can be done.

Bed is for horizontal jogging, Lounge is for viewing and pre-jogging activities

I don't think you'd finish too many movies, but you would have watched the start of LOTR ROTK at least 100 times.

There used to be these glasses available, that had prisms for lenses. It meant you could lie in bed and look up, and watch the telly at the end of the bed...

Unless you are into porn maybe? :P:P:P

i was waiting for that comment :D and no, that is not why i originally wanted to do it, i prefer to watch dvd's with the missus, it would take a fair bit of arm twisting to watch one of those together (i think, never tried so don't know :P:blink: )

Me neither but I've heard it can be a great turn on! :P

But as you say, it will never happen, so I'll never know for sure.
