timo have just noticed we no longer have on the forum banner or any where else any link directing to www.dba.org.au wesite

not sure if this is intentional. but dont think thats good as the dba site is a very good source of info dtv related and promoting the technology with latest news etc...by the way is anyone going to be updating news there last news bulitin was apr-may

Not sure about the future of the DBA Bulletin (as I am no longer doing it) - maybe send an email to Chris Williamson at enquiries@dba.org.au.

The website is indeed being updated on a regular basis but not all updates are visible on the public section of the website. The issue you may be referring to is the lack of new news in the Australian/Latest Digital TV news. As there has been little in the way of announcements on digital television in Australia – no new news story has been added. My advice is to stay watching after today’s announcement.

With regard to the bulletins, there will be no June bulletin as a result of the handover of operations from Tim and Nadia but a new bulletin for July/August is currently in preparation. So stay tuned.

Maybe have the "DTV Viewers Survey" section only appear after you get 25 to 50 posts. That might stop a bit more of the off-topic material in it.

Of course, saying that, is it needed still? If there are going to be surveys in it, it might be good to open posting only when a survey is happening.

I have moved the DTV Survey sub-forum down the priorities.

I am bogged down in DTV development issues at the moment so I have not had a chance to address any of the other recommendations of the advisors group yet - but I will get to them.

Probably a good idea to put the Active Topics link at the top of the page (maybe above the quick search box, on the RHS, opposite the "DTV Forum Australia" link).

(And maybe think about removing flood control on this function! Unless it actually does get flooded!)
