snowdownunder Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Guy Pratt who played bass for Pink Floyd after the departure of RW is doing a stand-up comedy tour of Australia. There are only about 3 shows left and they're in the Sunshine state. I went on Tuesday night and had a great time and lots of laughs. Very up close and personal. Being a Floyd/Gilmour fan I found the insight very informative. Did anybody else go? What did you think? Info on the remaining shows http://www.spokenwordaustralia.com.au/guy.html
exitmusic Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Went and saw him last time he was in Perth. Didn't really know what to expect but had a great time. I knew beforehand about him playing with Pink Floyd which is what got me interested in going but was also interested to hear the stories about when he worked with Micheal Jackson and Madonna. Recommend going to see him if you get the chance and from memory the tickets were not that expensive.
