rossb Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Are there any stores in Sydney which still carry a large stock of used classical vinyl? Years ago, I used to buy everything from Ashwoods. Those were the good old days - LPs were $1 or $2 each, and I would come home on a saturday with a couple of boxes of LPs for under $100. Now I have to rely on ebay, LPs cost far more and then double or triple that again for postage. I still kick myself for all the bargains I passed up before Ashwoods disappeared. Anywhere similar left in Sydney? 1
New Sensations Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Maybe Lawson's on Pitt St but condition varies considerably. YMMV.
eltech Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 I can probably get you some near mint classical vinyl on the cheap. who are you looking for?

Thanks, but I'm not currently looking for anything specific*, I would just like to browse in a shop with a decent selection. * other than Wolfgang Schneiderhan's stereo Mozart concertos in early pressings
